New CompassionART Sessions Available Now!
CompassionArt is a Dilly Arts project launched in 2018, working with people in and around the rural area of Hexham, Northumberland who are living with long-term chronic illness which prevents them from working, and has a major impact on their daily lives. The current set of sessions are the fourth run of workshops in the project and are funded by the NHS Northumberland Winter Resilience Fund. Due to the nature of the funding, these sessions are only available for people living in Northumberland. We have chosen to deliver this project as part of the launch of the Northumberland Recovery College.
We are offering a series of beneficial creative stimulating and engaging activities to bring people together in a calm and supportive environment. During the COVID-19 epidemic, this will be an online environment. The sessions include singing, up–cycled art, yoga, dance, animation, and Craft yourself a Gift . There are 36 sessions all led by artists, experts and fully qualified practitioners.
