Paper Art Session Outlines

Please note: when booking your sessions, if you want to do Paper Art you need to supply your address so relevant materials can be posted to you. If you fail to provide this, your booking will be rejected.

Origami Books

This session will show you how to make your own book using minimal tools. We will use the ancient art of origami to make a few different book designs using only a few sheets of paper. No sewing and no glue.

1 hour

Materials needed:

  • 1 A3 sheet of paper
  • A4 Paper
  • A4 card
  • Scissors or a scalpel and a ruler.

Mini Summer paper wreath

A relaxing session making paper flowers inspired by summer to create a paper wreath you can hang in your home with no maintenance. No water needed.

Origami Chinese Thread Book

The Zhen Xian Bao are traditional thread storage books from South West China used to store needles and threads but can also store other small items. We will make a simple version of this paper pop up book using just paper and glue.

Korean Patchwork Suncatcher

Inspired by the Korean craft of Jogakbo – a form of patchwork quilting using silk or sheer fabrics, we will create a very effective rainbow suncatcher using just tissue paper to hang in your window. A great lockdown craft.
