Amanda Drago will lead you through a gentle seated yoga class following the structure of a Hatha class. The class starts with finding and using your breath (pranayama), followed by a gentle warm up, starting with the neck and spine, and then working down the body to offer you more movement facility. We then practice a series of modified yoga poses (asanas) in a seated position that will strengthen and stretch your offer some gentle stretching and finish with a guided relaxation.
Amanda lives on the Northumberland / Cumbria border. Having enjoyed a career as a dancer, yoga became her next love. What started out as a tool to protect and heal a broken body became a holistic daily practice.
She has a strong belief that yoga is for everyone. Her inclusive teaching style offers you the tools to develop your own yoga practice, enjoying the acceptance and awareness that brings.
Participants will be asked to fill out a short health questionnaire.
